Principles of Chemical Science
Course Summary
This course is based on 5.111 Principles of Chemical Science, Fall 2005 made available by Massachusetts Institute of Technology: MIT OpenCourseWare under the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license.
This course is taught by Prof. Sylvia Ceyer and Prof. Catherine Drennan at MIT. It is an introductory chemistry course, emphasizing basic principles of atomic and molecular electronic structure, thermodynamics, acid-base and redox equilibria, chemical kinetics, and catalysis. This course also introduces the chemistry of biological, inorganic, and organic molecules.
